Chemex filters are an important component of the Chemex pourover process, scientifically designed to enhance cup clarity and flavor quality. The thick fiber filter is 20 30% thicker than a normal filter, in order to restrain bitter compounds, fats, and sediment. Chemex filters are made from sustainably harvested trees and conform to SFI, FSC, and PEFC sustainability programs.
