Al-durar al-nafa'is fi sha'n al-kana'is الدرر النفائس في شأن الكنائس Tetouan Special issue on Moroccan supportThis is a classic text of Maliki jurisprudence about the status of non Muslims in an Islamic society. The author, Al Qarafi (d. 1601) from Egypt, relied on important Maliki authors to define the status of churches and synagogues in the land of Islam. Al Qarafis Al Durar is an important text which can be relied upon to further the dialogue between Islam and the other monotheistic religions.
