The inside end to end measures around 5-1/2" with an additional 1" gap

This large pin contains incredible silver works which include striking sun patterns that rest throughout the entire piece. Located in the center are amazing mountain patterns. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, T. C. (unique font, could be Thomas Singers old hallmark) . The pin measures around 3" x 2 1 8". Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 30 grams.
