Matched Pair Tung-Sol 6AQ5 Vacuum Tubes Black Glass NOS-Testing The Old Sweet I am playing it asThis matched pair of Tung Sol black glass 6AQ5 output tubes was tested on our Paul Hart calibrated TV7 U for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Tube One measured 67 while Tube Two measured 73 where minimum (65%) is 46 and 100% is 71. It took two adapters but was worth it as they sounded fine in my Mini 2013.
