Indian Brass Boondi Jhara Signage The dimensions of this cabinetThis stunning kitchenalia piece originated in India and was handmade from brass and wood. It has a solid wooden handle and large brass circular skimmer on the end. It was originally used primarily to make boondi, which are small fried chickpea flour balls. It was also used as skimmers, to strain food or skim foam. Nowadays however, this jhara could be used for a similar purpose, or as wall decor for any contemporary kitchen. Dimensions are as follows:
