Mid 19th Century Chinese Street Vendors Chest Architectural this net can be usedThis unique piece originated in China within the 1850s. This chest was hand crafted from elm and has a beautiful dark brown lacquer throughout. It holds all of its original brass locks and handles, and the 2 drawers are dove tailed. This chest would have been used as a street vendors chest and it originally would have had handles on the side. Nowadays, this piece would make a stunning trinket or jewellery box!
