This terrarium has enough room for one of your miniature plants or moss garden, perhaps a Venus flytrap. The Ellis Trap's namesake is John Ellis, a naturalist and member of the Royal Society of London. Although Dr. Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward is credited with the invention of the modern terrarium, John Ellis discussed the use of terrariums in his book 60 years earlier.
