There is ample structure here as well though it’s largely buffered by all of the mid-palate extract and I particularly like the depth

the wine was aged in 100% new

My only complaint was the level of oak found in the wine

Reduction conceals the underlying fruit though there is excellent complexity and vibrancy to the beautifully well delineated middle weight plus flavors that possess outstanding richness on the hugely long and youthfully austere finish. This very firm but well balanced effort is expressly builtto age and is going to need plenty of it. (92 95) 2029+
