Its located on the easterly edge of Bordeaux in Sainte Foy, part of the greater area of Entre Deux Mers. The couple took over the estate in 1998 when Jean Michels mother passed away. It was an opportunity to trial ideas they had about biodynamics and soil nutrition. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. The fruit is de stemmed and macerated
