One side shows winter ocean and wind currents (Nov Mar) while the other shows the information for summer (May Sep). These charts were prepared through the collaboration of the US Navy Hydrographic Office and US Naval Air Combat Intelligence. They were designed primarily for use by Navy and Marine pilots operating from
