Legend has it, GI's in post WWII Yokosuka, Japan, would bring their bomber jackets into the Toyo Tailor shop for "souvenir" hand embroidery turning their jackets into something special to bring home. The style caught on and they were soon being made of surplus parachute nylon & silk. The tradition continued through the Korean and Vietnam Wars, where the darker sides of
