Not much of a plot really, just lots of hootin and hollerin, feuds, stills, singing, and gory murders. The scene where Scotts wife runs off into the woods with the local pug ugly sherill is pretty hysterical. A true study in backwoods southerners and hillbillies of the 1960s. Crude and cheap, but fascinating in its own way. Color, 35mm.
