Bokhara Royal Tekke flat woven rug Tekke BokharasThis carpet is hand knotted in a workshop in northern Pakistan near the princely state of Kashmir which stretches between Pakistan, China and India. The carpet is made with fine wool and has a high knot density which makes it very durable. Using a combination of New Zealand worsted and local Pakistani wool on a cotton base, the Pakistani Bokhara has a very soft and thick pile. Today, these carpets are considered to be some of the finest carpets
