Flight Computer, Test Pilot's, Douglas DC-8 United Air Lines Korean War eventually designated MIL-F-5752)This is an authentic Flight Computer specifically for the Douglas DC 8 jet airliner by Computair for United Air Lines. We estimate that it is from 1958 59 since it is labeled "PRELIMINARY PERFORMANCE DATA" and the DC 8 entered service with United Air Lines in 1959. According to documents of its prior owner, a retired UAL Pilot who flew DC 8's, this was designed to be used by test pilots and may be the only one in existence. We have never seen another.
