This painting is about seeing The Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh for the first time in my life. The water was so opulent blue green against the copper looking stone hills. As the boat went out deeper into the water it got darker and darker blue. I felt gold and silver and sparkly when I got into that water. Kind of like life was the way life says it is in novels and magazines and
