Gyro Horizon, FL22426, Luftwaffe F-11 This is a WWII-era AltimeterHere is a WW2 era German Gyro Horizon FI. 22426, made by Askania (under license from Sperry), as used in aircraft of the Luftwaffe, such as fighter ME 110 and bombers JU 88, HE 111, and HE177. See photo of HE 111 instrument panel. Cosmetic condition is very good. Functionally, the gyro horizon indicator does not float when the instrument is angled as it should. But otherwise is very suitable for static display.
