Queen Marie Antoinette filled Versailles with fragrant flower bulbs, hyacinths in specially made glass vases, with space for the bulb at the top so that it did not touch the water and thus went bad. This model was produced at Fyens Glasvrk from 1890 until around 1930 in a myriad of colors. Similar models are made at both Holmegaard and Aalborg Glassworks. The glass is in perfect
