Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Romanée Saint Vivant 2002 SummerCellar vanilje… og med en langVinous Good medium red. Very sexy aromas of redcurrant, tobacco, mocha, underbrush and truffle. Lush and smooth in the mouth, but also with lovely tension and aromatic intensity to the flavors of strawberry, mocha and molasses. Dry and classic, and long and perfumed on the finish. This was aged in 100% new oak but the wood element has mostly been absorbed. Still plenty of tannins to support further aging, but Alain Meunier reminded me that he doesn't
