This collage was inspired by a farm house in my area here in lovely County Down. In some ways it's not entirely typical of the local style of building and always reminds me of farm houses I've seen in Yorkshire. I use different types of linen, some very old, to make my collages. I sew the pieces together by hand using a variety of stitches and embroidery
