Built as part of Lot 282, it was built with the new, larger deign of cab (8750 class) whist still retaining some of the earlier features like the early water filler caps and lack of steps up the bunker side. Whilst the steps would get added later along with a tope feed, the fillers would stay the same until withdrawal. New to Old Oak Common, and remaining a London area engine for most of its
