The roots of a nearby tree had worked their way over this wood and were very well attached

The wood comes from Crete

I decided to use the roots to create a vine appearance  - so if you think they are very realistic and three dimensional

It's quite tall

Now the shop sits empty, the paint is peeling, and the sign is fading just the way I like it! The driftwood piece is probably just as old as the actual building you could see it had traveled the oceans for probably decades.
