There’s lots of blocks on this quilt with the plates being smaller than some as there are 25 Dresden Plate blocks separated with a green sashing

The addition of the curved block on the border adds to the details on this classic quilt

This wonderful early Half Square Tirangles quilt set in a 4 block format keeps one looking at the many fantastic early fabrics

so I did wash it since some light age toning showed and did a second bath that took care of the age toning overall

To think this small handmade treasure was made around 180 years ago and was taken care of and really doesnt look like it had much use. The fabrics are wonderful detailed prints of pink, browns, madders, and more. The edge is finished off with a separate hand applied binding. It is hand quilted. The dimensions are 27x29 inches.
