Benromach, 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, Speyside Mallorca and a light tannic structureThe mothballed Benromach distillery was acquired by independent whisky bottlers Gordon and MacPhail in 1993 who set about restoring it to modern working order. Officially reopened by Prince Charles in 1998, bottling of the new malt began in 2004. The aim has been to produce a pre industrial scale style that reflects the character of a Speyside malt from before the 1960s.
