"L'Ete (Summer)", by Joan Miro, (Spanish, 1893-1983) New Acquisition corner from old hingesPochoir, as published in Verve, 1938, published byTeriade, Paris, Ed. ca. 3000, image 12 1 2 x 10 1 4, signed in the stencil, on cream wove paper, tiny pin holes, losses and creasing to the corner tips, a couple of small handling creases and minor scuffs in the image, the colors bright and unfaded. One of Miro's most charming and early prints, increasingly difficult to find.
