At 8. 8 ounces, the Major XL bear bag is still more lightweight than a traditional bear canister and prevents bears from getting your food in their territory. NOTE: The Major does not come with an odor barrier bag or an aluminum liner. Without the optional aluminum liner, your food may be crushed, ripped or punctured.
