Tokoname Ware Japanese Kyusu - Tadaomi Kato Wabi-Sabi 54 inches)Description This Tokoname yaki kyusu (teapot) is crafted from red clay and features a unique texture on its surface. The teapot has undergone firing in low oxygen conditions, resulting in a darker coloration of the clay with accents of the original red visible on some edges. The ceramic debeso (half spherical) filter in the teapot ensures that no metallic tastes are added to the tea. It is made by the award winning Tadaomi Kato () at the Koushin Kiln
