Camarena's distillery, El Pandillo, the Pasote Aejo is the longest aged tequila from this range, spending one year in American ex bourbon barrels. Mellowing the more prominent roasted agave of the Blanco or the Reposado, the aejo is still decidedly light in colour, and marks a sophisticated and mature alternative to the more overstated aejo examples that have flooded the industry.
