2018 Chateau Brane-Cantenac 'Le Baron de Brane', Margaux Bordeaux The 2022 Silhouette is everythingThe 2018 Baron De Brane is a more Merlot dominated second wine and is 60% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Carmnre. It has lots of floral, blue fruits as well as notes of ripe cherries, cedar pencil, and chocolate to go with a medium bodied, elegant, seamless style on the palate. It's more closed and backward than I would have expected, but it's an elegant, silky, charming wine to enjoy over the coming 10 12 years.
