The item is a fine porcelain tea trio manufactured during the 1960’s under the Lara Ware trade name and consisting of the tea cup

stiff and super flat

This particular range was manufactured in America during the 1950’s and seldom encountered today

Some of the items have age related crazing and one cup has a chip on the rim at the cup handle

The tazza has been well used and has some plate loss and also requires a polishing

snack bowl

Decorated in reticulated pierced metal on the sides together with a repousse craft scroll Corinthian pattern on the rim adorning the item

In 1814 the partnership ended and George Maw purchased a surgical instrument making business

the original design was first utilised by William Turner Cutlers
