The furnace can adopt either a 1" or 2" O. D quartz tube (optional) with a pair of stainless steel vacuum sealing flanges. The 1 4" barb fitting for the rubber hose connection allows heating samples in a vacuum or flowing gas. The furnace has two 4" L heating zone, which can provide a 100 mm long constant temperature zone or 200C temperature
