His images from the heyday of Kodachrome photography are legendary: street shots of the 1950s and 1960s bathed in warm red orange tones, precise observations of people and their movements in the city. Often poetic, sometimes witty, always from a respectful distance, yet with an intimate atmosphere. Herzog, who lived in Vancouver from 1953, created a colorful monument to the city. He also traveled to the United States,
